"BEWARE NEW UPDATE in reply to Donna , First show me a signed authorization signed by me that shows that I signed up for auto pay for my ex husbands account . You can’t because it does not exist . Secondly , the billing statement of payments does not show my card on that list . Third : the name in the credit card is not my exs it’s Mine . Your office did NOT verify it . Your office took the double payment 268 and also 165 , NOT the prior business . Finally if it’s auto pay as you state then why was there a missed payment as per your statement ? The whole purpose of auto pay is to keep payments on time . I have no policy there with your office , your office took MY MONEY for someone else’s account bills on a policy this is not mine . You are in the wrong and you know this . If this happens to you then you would be upset too . Hire better staff . I wish you lots of luck and bless your heart after all the non truths you have stated . Attached are the three payments taken from me . One is a double and one a single payment . None authorized by me for the use of my card . My card was on my policy when I had one and was given to John. I have all the emails and evidence . You shouldn’t be putting someone through this all over again mistake by your office that you won’t up to . It’s about time the issue and allegations were escalated . Anyone signing up for this State Farm please be cautious . Protect your cards , Becareful when you get a bill. UPDATE: After I canceled all my policies with them . A month later they charged my credit card for my ex husbands account . No one authorized it and they claimed he did , which he did not as he is not an authorized user . I tired ti resolved it peacefully but they didn’t care . They took his two payments of 265 on my card because they claim he was behind a month . Mind you this card was on file only for my policy on my own separate account , which I no longer have any policy there . They committed fraud and refuse to reimburse . How is it legal to bill someone else’s card. Especially when I have numerous emails stating that I have been divorced two years , it’s two separate policies. They have the most incompetent people here . Matt ran my card without permission or contacting anyone , all because my ex had two bills due that had nothing to do with me . I wish I could give a good review but based on my personal experience, I can not do so. I moved here from out of state and talked to John, he sold me the home insurance policy and the car insurance policy . I paid in full for the entire year of the policy for my home . He sent me a self survey link for pictures of the property , which I completed . I was told everything was good and my two policy’s were good . A few weeks later I start getting forwarded mail from my prior address out of state with mail from this State Farm ( they had asked for prior address when I signed up, but I was asked where I will be getting mail and I said at my new property where I live ). The forwarded mail was a bill charging me 174 dollars for a payment plan for the homeowners I paid in full. I contacted John via email and he said he would look into the address issue and the bill. I never heard back . I called yesterday to ask about the status of that since the bill is due and when I would get my car insurance bill and his reply “ uh , I don’t know.” He couldn’t tell me when my bill is due for the car nor tell me why they are charging me as a payment plan for the home insurance that’s paid in full . He also couldn’t really explain why I got a 91 dollar auto refund check . All he said was that it could happen sometimes, but was sure to tell me that not to cash the check until I speak to the office manager ( who was off on Monday). I also asked about a letter I recieved that was forwarded to me last week from again the prior address from State Farm. This letter took over two weeks to get to me . It was to tell me they de used that my roof was old and they were canceling my policy 6/13."

When your policies transferred to our office, we were not made aware that the credit card on file was incorrect or should not be associated with your ex-husband’s account. We understand how concerning and upsetting this situation is, and we want to assure you that it was never our intention to charge your card in error or without proper authorization. To clarify, our records show that your ex-husband had access to your credit card information, which was initially provided to your prior agent over the phone. Additionally, the authorization document for payment was sent via email and was electronically signed by your ex-husband. This document was then provided to you for your review. We apologize if there was any confusion or if you did not receive or review this documentation at the time. We are also sorry for the communication difficulties and confusion about your policy status, billing, and mailing address changes. Your experience does not reflect the level of service and transparency we strive to provide, and we apologize for any delays or lack of clarity you encountered. Because of the serious nature of the allegations, your complaint has been forwarded to our corporate office for review. We hope to have this resolved as quickly as possible for you. "Debbie & Linda are true assets to the company! Debbie has been helping me for many years continuously and has been nothing short of amazing, always. Linda was a blessing and so helpful last week when my son had an accident and we were encountering one issue after another with the automated system trying to get road side assistance for a tow & file a claim for an accident. After stopping in, she immediately, without hesitation helped us and got our claim started, a tow set up and a rental car initiated. So much easier handling everything in person with our local office instead of an 800 number where the care is just not the same. Did a follow up with Debbie today and she was excellent as always and assisted in tying up some loose ends"

"I would not recommend this agent or the agents who work for Donna Christopher. I had changed insurances due to Donna telling me herself that my business would be covered and months down the road they canceled me stating my business could not be covered after taking my payments for a few months. Then they decided to reinstate my insurance to my business vehicle without my knowledge and consent. I went to call them about the situation and I can no longer talk to them about this and their secretary told me I had to speak with corporate regarding my insurance from here on out. They didn't give me the corporate number they gave me some customer service number for issues with the state farm app. Very disappointed in the service from this agent and her other agents as well who refuse to call you back."

"Absolutely worst agents. So not ever use these people. They lied numerous times. We switched insurance to them because of what they offered, then three months later they dropped us, without telling us, because they said they won't cover what we do for work. They literally told us they would. We lost money, time and had a huge emotional toll that they couldn't care less about."

"Contacted this agency to give quotes on my personal auto, homeowners and a landlord policy. Gave them all of the dec pages, copies of driver licenses, and so forth. Called back to see if anyone had worked on our quotes, after being placed on hold 3 times, I was eventually hung up on. Obviously not the small hometown agency that I was looking for."

"I slipped and fell on ice hit my head was treated by the hospital and physical therapy for my injuries. filed a claim for personal injury , and haven’t heard or received any information about money I’m entitled to from the injury fall. Yet , every year my premiums are being increased for my car and fire insurance. It’s not a credible insurance company to help clients. I wouldn’t do business here . Soon I will be seeking another company."

"I've been with State Farm for 30 years. The customer service and knowledge seem to be continuing to decline. Can't just call your agent's office any more to get answers. Have to get some answers from the agent, some from an 800#. Bills don't get mailed any more, even after you are told you should be receiving them. Have to keep checking online to make sure you don't miss a bill."

"I went to Donna Christopher’s office under unfortunate circumstances. The kindness that I was shown blew me away. They walked me step by step on what will happen and what I need to do. Debbie I believe was the name of the agent I dealt with and the young lady at the front desk were exceptional. They remembered the names of my family members and even remembered where they work. It made my experience there feel personal and took some of the stress off of an otherwise very difficult situation. Highly recommend and extremely grateful!"
